Community Based Counseling Center

Rutgers Hillel, in partnership with the Counseling, Alcohol & Other Drug Assistance Program and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) at Rutgers University, is proud to offer the new Barbara Littman Health and Wellness Program!

Going to college can be a difficult transition period in which students often feel lost, lonely, confused, anxious, and stressed. These problems can lead to undiagnosed and untreated depression and other mental health problems.

Dana Weinstock MA, NCC, LPC, will work as part of our Hillel community to offer health and wellness counseling, support, and education to all Rutgers students, in the familiar, safe, and trusted environment that Rutgers Hillel provides.

Dana Weinstock’s hours:

Mondays: 2pm-10:30pm

● 2-4pm “Let’s Talk Hours” – this is a 30 minute drop-in consultation
format where students can stop by to meet confidentially one-on-one with a CAPS counselor.

● 9-10pm (beginning 11/25) Meditation Workshop – this is a weekly drop-in workshop open to all students (no appointment required).

● Hours in between spent at Hillel will be used for individual counseling appointments with students, outreach and planning, intake appointments, and documentation.

Wednesdays: 3:30-8:30pm

● 7-8:30pm Workshops – These will be rotating topics.

● Hours in between spent at Hillel will be used for individual counseling appointments with students, outreach and planning, intake appointments, and documentation.

The Health and Wellness Program at Rutgers Hillel is supported with a generous grant from the Jewish Women’s Foundation of Southern New Jersey.
