Community Based Counseling Center

Rutgers Hillel, in partnership with the Counseling, Alcohol & Other Drug Assistance Program and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) at Rutgers University, is proud to offer the new Barbara Littman Health and Wellness Program!

Going to college can be a difficult transition period in which students often feel lost, lonely, confused, anxious, and stressed. These problems can lead to undiagnosed and untreated depression and other mental health problems.

Dana Simons, MA, NCC, LPC, works as part of our Hillel community to offer health and wellness counseling, support, and education to all Rutgers students, in the familiar, safe, and trusted environment that Rutgers Hillel provides.

Dana Simons’s hours:

To set up an appointment with Dana Simons call 848-932-7884. Please be aware that when calling, you will be asked to leave a voicemail. Your call will be returned as soon as possible, typically in the same business day. RU ID is required in the message.

The Health and Wellness Program at Rutgers Hillel is supported with a generous grant from the Jewish Women’s Foundation of Southern New Jersey.
