Graduate Hillel (Jewish Graduate Students at Rutgers) had an awesome Hanukkah party on Sunday night, December 7th. From traditional Hanukkah music to games of draidle and gelt, this party had it all. The cooking committee was excited to provide the crispiest latkes and the sweetest fruits, desserts and donuts. This was our biggest event of the semester. We had a great time and cannot wait until our Purim Party on Sunday, March 8th!

We are so excited to celebrate our heritage by eating fried food at the Fried Fiesta for Festival of Lights on Monday night, December 8th. There might not be sombreros at this fiesta, but we’ve got fried chicken, corn fritters, french fries, and a make-your-own-sufganiot bar. Hanukkah is a time when we come together with family, and we want to celebrate with our extended Koach family. We’ll end the semester with a bang (or a sizzle of oil…)

The Togas vs Soldiers Hanukkah Ball on Saturday night, December 13th is going to be awesome! It is Rutgers Hillel’s annual Hanukkah celebration that is open to everyone. There will be delicious food, fun-interactive inflatables and a great opportunity to pick up your hanukkiah for the upcoming holiday. Make sure you break out your best Greek-toga and Macabee-soldier costumes. Everyone should come, it will be a ball!
