Originally started by at Rutgers Hillel LEAD Fellow, Rutgers Shalom/Salaam is a student organization that works to facilitate strong relations between Jews and Muslims, as well as people of all faiths and cultures, on campus and beyond. We focus not on politics, but instead on bringing people together through dialogue, cultural exchanges, and community service. We work to combat Islamophobia and Anti-Semitism. We promote respect, understanding, pluralistic interaction, and peace.
