Passionate student leaders enthusiastically encouraged me to participate. Within the Rutgers Hillel community, a spark was fueled deep inside of me. I was exposed to meaningful Jewish learning and living. I was assured that my voice and my leadership were valid and valued. At Rutgers Hillel I was invited to start along a path of service to our people that I am still very much on decades later. I met my beloved at a Rutgers Hillel Shabbat lunch.
