Rutgers Hillel is proud to honor community leaders Joseph Hollander MS’84 and Mitch Frumkin MBA’82 of the Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey with the Visionaries in Partnership Award at the Rutgers Hillel Annual Gala on Monday, June 22nd.

Joseph Hollander wrote this letter that we are proud to share with you:

 

Dear Friends,

Jewish community is very important to me. K’lal Yisrael and its values are what make our people unique and special. I have always taken my tzedakah responsibility seriously, and believe we ultimately succeed as an extended community together.

In New Jersey, one of the Jewish communal assets we share is our State University and therein Rutgers Hillel. It is extremely gratifying that I, along with Mitch Frumkin, of the recently merged Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey, will receive the Rutgers Hillel Visionary in Partnership Award at their Annual Gala in June.

Rutgers is a national leader among Hillels, serving the 2nd largest Jewish undergraduate campus population in the country, and over 7,000 Jewish undergraduates and graduate students combined. Hillel’s mission is to create opportunities for all Jewish students at Rutgers University’s New Brunswick/Piscataway campus to deepen their connection to Jewish identity and community.

Please join me and recognize our shared interest in Rutgers Hillel by supporting this annual event. Consider placing a journal ad in their program and joining me at the event on June 22nd at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ. This is a wonderful way to invest in our youth and in a Jewish institution serving the entire state of New Jersey.
