After four years, college has come to an end. It’s amazing how quickly the time flies by!

Looking back, I have many great memories and experiences, and Rutgers Hillel certainly played a role in many of them. Hillel represented the place where all my needs for Jewish life could be fulfilled; from religious services to Shabbat dinners and many programs in between. But Hillel was much more than just that to me.

It’s where I met some of my best friends and was supported by terrific staff.

As a member of the Hillel Student Board for two years, I was also given opportunities for both personal development and professional experience.

It’s where I learned to become a leader, undertaking responsibility and seeing it through to the end.

Hillel is where I realized that giving back is much more important than taking from.

For four years, Hillel was my home away from home. And I leave knowing that Hillel will continue to be a home for all Jews at Rutgers.
